A seal is film on adhesive: it can be peeled and replaced. What it gives you is the number, a dated photo and a logged serial. Not affiliated with any grading company or marketplace.
Where a Standard seal goes
Folded over the open top edge, the number on the front face. Works on 35pt to 130pt; the fold moves with the thickness.
Across the seam where the two halves meet, so opening the case is visible on the seal you logged.
On the bottom edge, clear of the grading label and cert number — your own number on a case somebody else graded.
Across the flap of a team bag, or bridging a bundled stack so one number covers one buyer's cards.
Across the flap of a bubble mailer or box so the number in your photo is the number that arrives.
On the mylar or the bag, so every pack in a series is a numbered unit and a buyer can quote a code.
Every seal is a different number
Pick a prefix — your shop, your break, your collection — and choose how the run is numbered: sequential from a starting number you set, random codes after the prefix, or a batch code plus a number. Within an order no two seals carry the same number. Add an optional QR that opens a page you choose or the seal's own record. Or order them plain, with no number at all.
What a seal will not do: it does not certify a card, prove a grade, or decide a dispute. It is a number you assigned, on a holder you photographed, on a date you logged — the record of what you shipped. That record is what helps deter swaps and return fraud.
Standard size, and when to go Large
The Standard seal is 1.77 × 0.75 in (44.96 × 19.05 mm) — the size that folds over a toploader's open edge, spans a team bag flap and sits on a slab's bottom edge clear of the label. For one-touch and magnetic holders, break stacks and storage boxes, the Large 2.5 × 1 in seal gives your logo and number more room.

Questions people ask
Will the seal damage a toploader, a one-touch or a card?
Never put a seal on the card itself. On the plastic of a toploader or acrylic case a die-cut vinyl label is not shipping tape: it peels back off, and you keep it off the card and off any holder headed to a grader. We say where not to use it in every placement guide.

What does the QR do?
It opens a page you choose — your shop, a listing, a live show — or the seal's own record showing the design, the number and the date it was logged. It shows what you logged; it does not certify a card.
