Custom Seals for Card Breakers

A break night is a numbering problem before it is anything else. Forty spots, three randoms, a filler, two buyers under a second username, and eleven hits that have to land with the right person on Monday. Custom seals for card breakers handle the middle step: a hit leaves the pack and needs a number before it hits the pile. Numbered seals for card breaks put that number on the holder — the same one you say on stream and write in your log.

Serial Seal prints die-cut holographic foil labels with your logo, your artwork and your own numbering. Standard is 1.77 x 0.75 in (44.96 x 19.05 mm). Large is 2.5 x 1 in (63.5 x 25.4 mm) for break stack labels and bundle banners. You set the prefix and the start number, and within one order no two seals share a number.

Spot numbering breaks: one serial per hit

The workflow that survives a fast night is the boring one. Seals arrive on a sheet in order; you peel in order. The hit comes out, goes into a top loader or a one-touch, the next seal goes on the plastic, and you read the number into the camera before the card leaves frame. One hit, one number, said out loud.

Numbering styles breakers actually use:

• Prefix plus sequential — BRK-1001 onward, running across every night you break. Easy to sort and search.
• Batch code plus number — a code per break (0902-PRIZM-01), readable at a glance in your log.
• Random codes — no sequence to read off, if you would rather not publish your hit count.
• Duo — two numbered halves on one label you cut apart: one on the holder, one on the packing slip or team bag. Same number, no handwriting.
• No number — the seal as pure branding. Most breakers mix: numbered on hits, unnumbered on base bundles.

It has to read on camera

A number nobody can read on a 1080p stream is a number you retype in the chat all night. Size first: the Standard 1.77 x 0.75 in label reads cleanly held about a foot from the lens, still for a beat. If your camera sits further back, or you break wax on a wide overhead shot, step up to the Large 2.5 x 1 in seal and give the number the biggest layout the builder offers.

Then the foil. Both sizes come in two holographic foils, Shattered Prism and Aurora. Under a ring light both throw a shift as the card turns, which is what makes a viewer notice the label.

Break stack labels: bundling without slowing the night

After the last pack, every buyer has a stack — base, inserts, whatever hit their teams. It goes in a team bag or gets banded, and needs one label saying whose it is.

Use a Large seal as a banner across the bundle or on the team bag, with the buyer name or spot in the field you set, plus the number. Running Duo, the second half goes inside on the slip. Photograph the stack once with the number showing, before it goes in the mailer.

Ship-only-hits versus ship-everything

Breaker branding stickers and group break shipping stickers

The same die does double duty. Breaker branding stickers carry your logo, channel name and handle, and the same design goes on the bubble mailer as group break shipping stickers — one mark on the mailer, the bag and the holder, three impressions per order for cents.

It is all your artwork: upload a logo, pick a layout (portrait or landscape flat, folded, slab banner, toploader banner, or Duo), set the number field. An optional QR opens the seal record — a page showing the design, the number and the date it was logged. It says nothing about the card.

After the stream: the log, the photo, the buyer who asks

Weeks later you get the message every breaker gets: which one was mine? The number in the video is the number on the holder, and the same number sits in your log at My Seals with the date it was logged. Pair that with the packing photo and you can tell a buyer what left your table, on what day, under what number.

What a run costs at break volume

Standard: $6.00 per pack of 12, 60-seal minimum at $30.00 (50c each), then 45c at 120. Large: $9.00 per pack of 12, 60 minimum at $45.00 (75c each), then 10% off at 120. Break-night run sizes:

Standard keeps dropping to 30c at 4,200; Large reaches 40% off (45c each) at 4,200. Self-serve tops out at 10,008 seals; larger runs are quoted. At eleven hits a night, three nights a week, 1,200 Standard seals is about eight months of breaking at 36c a hit.

What a seal will not do

It can be peeled off and a new one put on. It says nothing about the card inside — not the grade, not the pull, not the value. It has no standing with any marketplace, live-selling platform or grading company; none treat a sealed item differently. It does not decide a return; a claim is settled by the platform on what both sides file. What it does is give the item a number, and give you a photo and log entry carrying it.

Breaker FAQ

How many seals should I order for a break schedule?

Count hits, not spots. Average hits per night times nights per month, then buy a run covering six to twelve months so you land on a better tier — 600 Standard seals is 40c each, 1,200 is 36c. If you label break stacks too, add one seal per buyer per night.

Can I use one number for a whole break stack instead of per hit?

Yes. Many breakers number hits individually and put one Large break stack label on the bundle. The Duo layout gives you two halves of the same number, so the stack and the packing slip carry matching numbers without writing anything by hand.

Will the number read on a 1080p stream?
